The Adult Literacy League develops readers to build a strong and literate community.
Our Vision
The Adult Literacy League, Inc. serves as the premier literacy resource
providing education, training and information in Central Florida.
What The Adult Literacy League Does
- Provide free one-to-one and small group literacy
instruction
- Recruit and refer adult learners and volunteers
- Train literacy tutors
- Provide continuing education to tutors and
students through mentoring, training, seminars, and computer labs
- Provide scholarships for learning materials
and curriculum
- Provide comprehensive family literacy services with a variety of community partners
- Increase public awareness of literacy through
community events
