Site provides student/learner resources in technology training. Includes
links to sites for tutorial-based instruction on using computer hardware,
software, and the Internet.
Florida TechNet – http://www.floridatechnet.org
Specialized areas include “TechNet Living Library” and
“TechNet Workplace”. These areas offer links to research
articles, lesson plans, publications, etc. by category as well as
information on workplace skills, GED, ESOL, technology in adult
education, computer tutorials, and more.
Adult Learning Activities – http://www.cdlponline.org
This site provides online, interactive learning activities in 11
different subject categories relating to everyday life. Activities
focusing on reading, spelling, composition, and comprehension are
included. Be sure to check out the “Other Learning Web Sites”
section for more great learning resources and activities!
The Study Place – http://www.thestudyplace.org
Interactive online lessons and courses covering a variety of “life”
themes. Tutors can use the site’s “ready-to-use”
lessons or create their own. A clever animated tutorial is provided
for both teachers and students.

This site provides information relating to Florida’s GED program
and includes FAQ’s and lesson plans.

Resources for both students and teachers of ESL. The site has many
online study aids including grammar tips, quizzes and games. Teachers
will find many lessons and classroom activities which can be used
freely. As a result, the site is heavily supported by third party
advertisers, but the content is worth the minor annoyance. HINT:
Click the “stop” button on your browser’s toolbar
to stop the flashing ads and enable pop-up controls if your browser
supports them.
LINCS Adult ESL Special Collection – http://www.literacynet.org/esl
A collection of materials and web-based resources for teaching English
to adults. Site includes areas for both teachers and students with
links to resources including language practice and classroom materials,
as well as information on citizenship, living in the US, and GED.
TV411 – http://www.tv411.org
A fun and easy to navigate site featuring interactive lessons and
articles addressing themes such as money, parenting, people, and
health. Lessons improve reading, writing, vocabulary, math and learning
skills. The site also has a bulletin board to provide users with
personalized support and a forum to share their writing and ideas.

Randall's ESL Cyber Listening Lab - http://www.esl-lab.com/
This site contains a vast collection of listening exercises and
activities, including conversations and quizzes. The exercises target
high-beginning to low-advanced learners. (Real Audio is required
to use this site--links for free downloads are provided.)
Activities for ESL Students - http://a4esl.org/
Numerous quizzes and puzzles for learners to complete and check
on their own. Learners can choose from a variety of activities dealing
with vocabulary building, phrasal verbs, slang, idioms, homonyms,
and specific grammar points, such as articles and prepositions.
Bilingual quizzes are also included.
