Kenia Rosario comes from the country of the Dominican Republic. She lived there until she was 14 years old and then moved to Puerto Rico to be with her family. She completed both high school & university in Puerto Rico. Afterwards, she went back to the Dominican Republic to study medicine and practiced as a primary physician for 5 years. She now lives in Orlando with her 3 children.
Her goal is to speak English fluently and to be able to work in the medical field – for example as a clinical documentation specialist. She is currently a volunteer at the Florida hospital.
She is excited to become a board member. She sees this as an opportunity to be a part of an important cause that has helped her and many other students with the English language.
