Michael by trade is in the insurance business where he has over 23 years of experience in employee benefits. The clients he works with come from a variety of industries and range in size from smaller groups with a couple of employees to groups with hundreds of employees.
Michael is a native of Connecticut where he began his insurance career working for Aetna from June 1996 through December 2000. He held various positions from customer service, direct sales and account management.
In 2005, Michael earned his LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) designation and in 2007 earned his FSS (Financial Services Specialist) designation from The American College.
He lives in Belle Isle with his wife Kelley, son Matthew, their cat Kona and dog Khloe. He enjoys traveling, wine, MLB baseball, NFL football, cooking and is a brown belt in Karate and is looking forward to helping the Adult Literacy League in achieving its goals.
