Isabella Langhorst

Development & Community Engagement Specialist

Isabella Langhorst is a passionate advocate for social justice and community development. As a proud Latina and Central Floridian, Isabella has witnessed firsthand the dynamic growth of Central Florida and the evolving needs of its diverse communities.

She earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Central Florida in 2023, where she discovered her passion for public policy. Her academic interests include education reform, healthcare access, humanitarian aid, and immigration policy—areas she continues to explore both personally and professionally.

Isabella began her nonprofit journey as a remote Development and Event Intern with We Are Loved, and later launched her full-time career at 26Health, where she served as an Executive Assistant. In this role, she supported C-suite leadership by managing both internal and external communications, gaining essential nonprofit management experience. Her work deepened her understanding of the challenges faced by underserved communities and solidified her commitment to service. Currently, Isabella is pursuing a dual master’s degree in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management at the University of Central Florida and is expected to graduate in 2026.

Isabella is thrilled to be a part of the Adult Literacy League team, where she looks forward to connecting with the community—both in-person and virtually—to share and support the mission and vision of ALL.

In her free time, Isabella enjoys spending quality time with her partner, grandparents, and her beloved fur baby, Leo. She loves reading, visiting Disney, exploring new places, and trying new foods.
