Sheldon Dutes is the AVP of Regional Community Engagement at VyStar Credit Union. Sheldon joined VyStar in 2026 after an award-winning 18-year career in broadcast news that took him to TV stations across the country, including WESH 2 News here in Central Florida. Sheldon grew up in Orlando, graduated from Notre Dame, and earned his master’s degree in Corporate Communications from Marquette University. In addition to the Adult Literacy League, Sheldon serves on the board of directors for United Arts Central Florida. He also volunteers with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and raised $33K for LLS as a Visionary of the Year candidate in 2024.
