Hiba T. George, MSP, MA
Hiba George is a Community Planner with more than a decade’s worth of experience in the public sector, creating partnerships and implementing programs to end poverty, protect our planet and ensure prosperity for all. Some of her previous experience includes serving as the Federal Program Officer for the Corporation for National & Community Service, managing Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer’s Cities of Service Initiative: ORLANDO CARES in the City of Orlando, and creating ‘Eco-Teams’ for Sustainable Tallahassee.
Hiba currently serves on the board of the Adult Literacy League and is a Community Adviser to Rollins College’s Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hub. She is a founding board member and past President of the AmeriCorps Alums Orlando Chapter. She is also the Outgoing Curator for Global Shapers Orlando, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.
Hiba George has a Master’s of Science in Urban Planning and a Master’s of Arts in International Affairs from The Florida State University.
