John Taylor is a retired health care worker after working at Humana Lucerne for 20 years and in a pulmonary doctor’s office for 25 years.
He was raised in Edison, GA. His parents were sharecroppers with 14 children. John moved to Florida and attended Charles R. Drew High School in Winter Garden. After high school, he was drafted into the Army and served in Vietnam.
Since John retired, he volunteers as a Scout Master for the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, teaching boys how to be outstanding citizens.
