Kelsey Burgess

BOARD MEMBER, Burr & Forman LLP

Kelsey Burgess is a creditors’ rights and bankruptcy attorney at Burr & Forman LLP.  She works with debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and other interested parties in matters involving Chapter 11 bankruptcies, out-of-court workouts, and related transactions. She returned home to Orlando after working at White & Case LLP in Miami, Florida, where she also handled bankruptcy and restructuring matters. Kelsey earned her undergraduate degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida and her law degree cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

A Winter Park resident, Kelsey is an avid reader and is passionate about sharing her love of books and reading. In addition to serving on the Adult Literacy League’s board of directors, Kelsey is also a tutor for the organization. Kelsey got involved with the Adult Literacy League after realizing the importance of the work that ALL does in providing vital skills that change people’s lives.
